What is Venturing?
Venturing is the youth-led, youth-inspired, coed program of Scouting America for those who are 14–20 years old. Our mission is to prepare every eligible youth in our unit to become a responsible, participating citizen and leader who is guided by the Venturing Oath and Scout Law.
Already a Scout? Great! Venturing offers a complementary experience for those in a Scouts BSA Troop. Registered Scouts do not need to pay to register with the Crew.

Rock Climbing
Indoor and outdoor climbing sessions at local gyms and natural rock faces across the Southeast.
High Adventure
Multi-day trips to destinations like New River Gorge, WV for world-class climbing and adventure.
